Support for External Engagement Network (SEEN) @ Faculty of Science
A Wellcome Trust funded Collaborative Research Cultures project, a Faculty-wide survey explored the landscape of activities with external organisations, examined challenges faced through an intersectional lens and identified the types of support participants would find most valuable. Key findings from the survey and an outline of future programming events will be shared. Universal Design for Learning, Universal Design in Teaching
The session will provide an overview of common difficulties for students of STEM subjects and how a Universal Design for Learning approach can be used to mitigate these. Concrete examples of UDL in practice will be shared and participants will consider how they promote learning by all students.
