Education graduates recognised at national event
New teachers were celebrated as they enter into the profession at the General Teaching Council's National Probationer Event which was held at Clermiston House in June 2015.
32 new teachers from across the country attended the event to represent Local Authorities across Scotland.
Of the 32 new teachers selected as ‘outstanding probationer’ this year, 10 were graduates from the School of Education.
Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning Angela Constance presented each new teacher with the General Teaching Council for Scotland’s Certificate of Full Registration at the event.
